How do I get a library card? What do I need to get a library card? Who can get a library card?
Everyone is welcome to use the Library and its collections. A library card is necessary to check out materials. Everyone may have a free Lake Elmo Library Card. Washington County residents who would also like a Washington County card may apply for one card per household, good for all in the household, at any Washington County Library, including Stillwater and Bayport.
The library hosts a wide range of programs for life-long learning at any age. From author visits to story time for preschoolers, to computer classes, and movie nights with free popcorn. Library programs are an essential part of community vitality. Click here for a full schedule of upcoming events.
Internet computer work stations are available for all library users with or without a LEPL card. Also available is color and black and white printing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing. Fees for printing are ten cents a page for black and white, 50 cents a page for color, faxing is $.50/page. WiFi access for laptop use is available throughout the library. The community meeting room is equipped with a large screen and connectivity to a digital projector, DVD/VHS player, and a data line for a variety of presentation formats.

Tools such as a magnifying reader, touch screens, and adaptive computer mice are available for use in the library.
